I rarely post reviews, but iRide truly deserves every bit of praise and a well-earned five stars! From the very first email, the pre-booking correspondence was professional and I really appreciated that no upfront payment was required. The driver was punctual on all three occasions (twice on 27th and on 29th December) and delivered exceptional customer service throughout. Two different vehicles were used, both spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Car seats for my little one and a booster for the other were provided at no extra cost, which was a huge plus. The next time we’re in Southampton, there’s absolutely no question—we’ll be using iRide again and happily recommending them to everyone we know! ~ Lawrence E

I had to go for an important job interview in Southampton, and another taxi company let me down at the last minute. Luckily, iRide Taxis came to the rescue! They arrived quickly, the driver was professional and friendly, and I got to my interview right on time. After the interview, I had to visit a few other places the same day, and once again iRide Taxi provided reliable, on-time service. Their cars are clean, comfortable, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other Southampton taxi services. I’ve now saved iRide Taxis as my go-to trusted taxi company. If you’re looking for a dependable, and respect time sensitive appointments, then iride taxi are highly recommended and suggest giving iRide a call. I ride taxi Southampton taxis. The driver, sikander was excellent. We were comfortable and did not at all feel concerned about his driving competency. He rang me before the pick-up time to confirm pick-up point at southampton aiport. We appreciated that he offered to stop along the way to southampton if we needed food and drink, or bathroom breaks. Our flight landed earlier than we had anticipated and had previously asked for a 6.30am pick-up to give us enough time to go through immigration, baggage claim and customs. Credit to him though, he was already making his way to the parking lot and so he picked us up at 6am. ~ Qamar S

We used this taxi service to get from Southampton Central to the Cruise Terminal. We booked a return journey online and the website was easy to use. What I particularly liked was the communication - booking confirmation received via email and text message. And we received a text message when the driver was en route and a link to view the drivers progress on a map. Also, we received the make, model, colour and registration of the taxi and the driver rang us as soon as he arrived. Really excellent service and we would use again. ~ Michael W

A quality service at an incredibly great value price. For all your airport or cruise port transfers, this is your go to company for anywhere near the London to Southampton areas. They have quality vehicles, highly professional drivers like Hussain, and incredibly good prices. Hussain and Iride are punctual and so easy to deal with, as well as focussing on safety and comfort. I was extremely impressed by the service I received from IRide. I booked a return journey from Heathrow to Southampton 2 disabled passengers and myself with 5 suitcases for 3Aug &16 Aug 24. Sheena who took the booking was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble as I had to make a few changes at short notice. The drivers were extremely polite and helpful. These guys are fantastic. I was dropped at Southampton Airport by BA at 2:30am because our Southampton flight was diverted to Stansted. The controller provided the best customer service I’ve experienced from a taxi company and the driver was excellent. Between them they got me home fast after an exhausting journey, and I felt safe the whole way. I would definitely use again, and would recommend to anyone. ~ James R

Great driver. Very friendly, brought out a trolley straight away at the terminal and put our luggage on it. Online booking is a bit glitchy - the confirmation I got was for a time years ago somewhere in Belfast. But the cab came fine and they confirmed the booking details when I emailed. ~ Ben S
